Yes. Depending on the size of the school group and equipment availability, our technicians can organize the session so that students rotate or choose between both modalities, ensuring a dynamic and complete experience.
The program for schools, associations, and groups is operational throughout the school calendar (from September to June), allowing teachers to plan the activity at the time that best fits their syllabus.
The Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián provides all the necessary high-end technical equipment: SUP board or kayak, paddles adapted to different heights, leash, and a full wetsuit if the water temperature requires it.
Of course. The school reservation includes the full use of our exclusive facilities. Groups will have access to the Club's changing rooms, lockers to store their belongings, and hot showers after finishing the activity.
The meeting point and base for nautical operations is the headquarters of the Sea School (Itsas Eskola) of the Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián, located at Paseo Eduardo Chillida 9, right at the end of La Concha Bay, allowing us direct and safe access to the sea.
On Paseo Eduardo Chillida itself, there are stopping zones and an adjacent public parking lot. For school buses, the Ondarreta area allows students to get on and off just a few meters from the main entrance of our facilities.
Yes. Due to legal regulations and the strict safety protocol of the Club, it is a mandatory requirement that all people participating in the activity, regardless of age, know how to swim autonomously.
No, it is not optional. We provide an approved flotation vest to each participant, and its use is mandatory 100% of the time the students are in the water carrying out the activity.
The groups are accompanied at all times by our team of highly qualified instructors. All are technicians certified by the IOSUP (Spanish Surfing Federation) and/or by the Gipuzkoan Canoeing Federation, ensuring a controlled environment.
It is not necessary. The Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián has comprehensive insurance that covers both Civil Liability and sports accidents for all enrolled students during the development of the activity in our facilities.
For school groups, the request must be made through the contact form you will find at the bottom of this page, indicating tentative dates, estimated number of students, and specific needs. Our coordination team will contact you to formalize the reservation.
To facilitate the economic organization for schools, we apply a single flat rate of 12.50 € per student, regardless of the total size of the school group.
No. The school rate of 12.50 € is already a highly subsidized and exclusive price for this educational program. In this way, we save teachers the complex task of collecting cards and managing different fees per student.
We recommend schools contact us at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance, especially for reservations in May and June (end of the school year), as these are highly demanded dates and capacity is limited for safety reasons.
The total duration of the session is 1 hour and 30 minutes. This time includes the reception of the group, equipment allocation, the safety briefing on land, and, of course, the sports practice in the waters of the Bay.
Each student must bring in their backpack: a swimsuit (preferably already worn from home to save time), applied sunscreen, a towel for the showers, and very importantly, a safety strap if prescription glasses are required.
Safety is non-negotiable. In case of adverse maritime conditions or dangerous waves in Donostia - San Sebastián, the team will block the exit to the sea. The school will be contacted to offer a date change free of charge or, if rescheduling is not possible, a cancellation.
Yes, we ask school groups to arrive at the facilities of the Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián 10 or 15 minutes in advance. This ensures that the changing room management does not take away time from the pedagogical and sports block in the water.
