How it works

Departure point

Ondarreta Beach (right on the sand): We will wait for you at our meeting point 10-15 minutes before your reservation time. Do not forget your swimsuit, sunscreen, and, if you wear glasses, a strap to secure them.

Rental and scheduled activity bookings

To formalize the booking, the total amount (100%) must be paid. Until this payment is made, the booking will not be considered confirmed or valid.

Cancellation of rentals and scheduled activities

The customer has the right to withdraw from the requested, contracted, or reserved services, and may opt for a refund of the amount paid. If the cancellation is made between 72 and 24 hours before the start of the activity, a 50% penalty of the amount will be applied. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in no refund of the amount paid. Failure to show up on the day and time indicated by the RCTSS will result in the loss of the total amount paid.

Cancellation of custom activities

In case of modifying the number of participants more than 72 hours in advance, the final price will be recalculated according to the website rates. The cancellation of one or more participants between 72 and 24 hours before the start implies a 50% penalty of the proportional part paid. Cancellations with less than 24 hours will imply a 100% penalty of the proportional part. Failure to show up on the day and time set by the Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián will result in the loss of the amount previously paid.

Cancellations for medical reasons

In case of cancellation for justified medical reasons or death (of any degree of kinship), the RCTSS will offer a voucher valid for one calendar year to carry out the contracted activity. If final cancellation is chosen, the previously described conditions will apply.

Insurance

The prices of programs, activities, courses, and rentals include civil liability and accident insurance. Complete information on conditions and coverage is available to the customer at the RCTSS offices and can also be requested by email.

It is mandatory to fill in the details of all participants correctly, truthfully, and completely on the booking form. Failure to provide this data or providing false data will result in a lack of accident insurance coverage.

Data protection

We inform you that the RCTSS stores your personal and contact data to manage your booking and inform you about our activities and services, in accordance with our Privacy and Cookies Policy. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition by sending a copy of your ID card through the web form or by sending a message to rctss@rctss.com.

Adverse weather conditions

In case of bad weather conditions or strong waves, bookings will be blocked. Affected people will be offered the possibility of a full refund or a change of date.

10. Is the use of showers and changing rooms included in the price?
Being an activity parallel to the club and located right on the beach, we recommend using the beach showers or the municipal changing rooms if you need them.
11. Do you offer waterproof cases for mobile phones?
We do not provide waterproof cases. We recommend bringing your own or, to guarantee total disconnection while enjoying the scenery, leaving your devices safe in the RCTSS lockers. We also offer a rental service for watertight containers to store your belongings during the journey.
12. What clothing do you recommend wearing for this activity?
We suggest wearing a comfortable swimsuit, a lycra-type shirt to protect you from sun exposure at sea, sunscreen, and optionally, water shoes or booties that can get wet. A swim cap or hat is also recommended.
13. What is the duration of the standard rental service?
The basic rental is set for a duration of one hour. It is the perfect time to calmly paddle around the bay, approach the island, and admire the San Sebastián skyline from the water, but you can extend it in intervals of 90, 120, and 240 minutes.
