Rentals and activities bookings

To confirm the booking, 100% of the total amount must be paid. Until the payment is made, the booking is not considered confirmed or valid.

Rental cancellations

Cancellations are allowed up to 48 hours before the start of the activity. Up to two hours before the start of the activity, it is possible to reschedule it. Under 2 hours before the start of the activity, there is no possibility to cancel or reschedule, and 100% of the amount paid will be lost.

Custom modifications

If you modify the number of participants 72h before the activity, the price will be recalculated. Participant cancellations between 72h and 24h carry a 50% penalty. In the previous 24h, the penalty is 100%.

Justified medical cancellations

In case of cancellation for a JUSTIFIED medical reason or death of any degree of kinship, we will offer a voucher valid for one calendar year to carry out the contracted activity.

Included insurances

The price includes civil liability and accident insurance. It is mandatory to correctly, truthfully, and completely fill in the participants' details in the booking. Omission of this entails non-subscription to the insurance.

Weather conditions

In case of adverse weather conditions or rough sea, the possibility to make bookings will be blocked. Affected people will receive the option of a full refund or a date change.

Required punctuality

It is strictly necessary to show up 10 to 15 minutes before the start of the activity to guarantee full enjoyment of the reserved time and to adjust the equipment.

Yes, young people aged 16 to 17 can do the activity without an adult on board, but they must mandatorily present an authorization signed by their father, mother, or legal guardian at our facilities before starting.

Of course. Included in the rental price, we provide mandatory life jackets that are certified and adapted to different children's sizes and weight ranges to ensure correct buoyancy and great comfort.
10. Where can we leave the baby stroller or our backpacks?

Yes, right at the Itsas Eskola (at the bottom of the Ondarreta ramp), we have quick changing rooms and outdoor cold water showers, perfect to rinse off the sea salt and sand smoothly and comfortably as soon as you disembark.

Our rates for the 2+2 boat are very competitive. The general price is 34€ for a 90-minute rental, 45€ for the full 2-hour session, and 59€ if you want the extended 4-hour adventure. The price is per boat, not per person.
13. What is the recommended duration for an excursion with kids?
To paddle to the Santa Clara Island area, go around it, and return to Ondarreta without rushing, the ideal duration is 1.5 or 2 hours. It is the perfect time frame to enjoy the plan without the activity becoming exhausting for the little ones.
14. Are there discounts for club members?
We offer exclusive reduced rates for members of the Donostiako Tenis Elkarte Erreala. For example, the 2-hour rental drops from 45€ to 29€. The main holder of the booking must prove their active member status to benefit from this discount.

Coastal maritime regulations state that, during the summer beach season (June to September), it is forbidden to approach and beach the boats directly on the small beach or the island's port ramps. It is mandatory to tie the kayak to the yellow buoy line and swim the last meters to the shore. Please take this into account depending on the age and swimming skills of the children.
18. What happens if it rains heavily or the sea is rough in Donostia?
Safety is our priority. If the technical team of the Donostiako Tenis Elkarte Erreala evaluates that the weather conditions (wind, heavy swell) are not safe for family navigation, the activity will be suspended. We will notify you and offer either free rescheduling or a full refund of your booking.
19. Can we cancel the booking if our child gets sick?
Yes. Our booking policies include cancellation for a justified medical reason. In these exceptional cases, we will offer you a voucher valid for one calendar year so the family can do the activity once the child has recovered.
20. What happens if we arrive late to the meeting point?
