Departure Point

Itsas Eskola (Sea School): We will be waiting for you at our meeting point 10-15 minutes before your scheduled booking time. Do not forget your swimsuit, sunscreen, and if you wear glasses, a strap to secure them.

Reservations for Rentals and Scheduled Activities

To formalize a booking, the total amount (100%) must be paid in advance. Until this payment is cleared, the reservation will not be considered valid or confirmed.

Reservations for Custom Activities

To secure a booking for custom-made activities, full payment (100%) is strictly required. Without this payment, the reservation holds no validity and cannot be confirmed.

Cancellations Due to Medical Reasons

In case of cancellation due to verified medical reasons or bereavement (applicable to any degree of family relationship), RCTSS will provide a voucher valid for one calendar year to complete the contracted activity.

Insurance

The prices for all programs, activities, courses, and rentals include third-party liability and accident insurance. Comprehensive information regarding coverage and policies is available to clients at the RCTSS main offices.

Cancellation of Rentals and Scheduled Activities

If a cancellation is made between 72 and 24 hours prior to the activity's start time, a 50% penalty charge will apply. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a total loss of the amount paid. Failure to show up on the specified day and time will result in the loss of the full amount paid.

Rental Cancellations

Cancellations are allowed up to 48 hours before the activity starts. Rescheduling is available up to two hours before the activity's start time. Within 2 hours of the scheduled start time, cancellations or changes are no longer possible, and 100% of the paid amount will be forfeited.

Adverse Weather Conditions

In the event of severe weather conditions or heavy swells, all reservations will be put on hold. Affected clients will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule for an alternate date.

Punctuality and Data Protection

Arriving at the meeting point 10-15 minutes prior to your slot is absolutely essential. Please be advised that RCTSS processes and stores your personal details solely to manage your booking, in full compliance with our Privacy Policy.

The primary capacity is for 2 adults. However, our double kayaks feature a middle seat molded to accommodate a child (aged between 6 and 9 years old), allowing a maximum of 3 occupants.
4. Do I need to be a club member to rent a kayak?
No, membership is not required. Itsas Eskola is open to all visitors and residents who want to enjoy a premium ocean experience. Club members do, however, benefit from a special discounted rate.
5. Is it mandatory to know how to swim to rent a boat?
Yes. For the personal safety of all participants, knowing how to swim is an absolute and non-negotiable requirement to participate in any water activity at our center.
6. What is the minimum age to ride in or rent a double kayak?
The minimum age to go out on the water (always accompanied by a responsible adult) is 6 years old. To rent and navigate independently (without an accompanying adult), the minimum age is 16, which strictly requires a signed authorization from a legal guardian.
7. What happens if the sea conditions inside the bay are bad?
Your safety is always our main concern. If the sea is unfit for navigation on that day, you will be offered either the option to reschedule your booking or a full refund.
8. Where can I store my personal belongings while out on the water?
Locker spaces are provided directly inside the Itsas Eskola premises for you to secure your clothes, bags, and valuables for the entire duration of your activity.
9. What kind of clothing do you recommend bringing for this activity?
We recommend wearing a comfortable swimsuit, applying high-protection sunscreen, bringing a towel for afterwards, and if you use glasses, bringing a safety strap to keep them from falling into the sea.
10. What is the standard duration of the rental services?
We offer three main rental durations to suit your plans: 1.5 hours (90 minutes), 2 full hours, or an extended block of 4 hours.
11. Is it necessary to reserve the kayak in advance?
We strongly advise booking well ahead of time through our official website (rctss.com) to secure your equipment, as double kayaks are highly sought after during peak season.
12. How early should I arrive at the facilities before my slot?
To ensure you have plenty of time to gear up, check your belongings into a locker, and listen to the briefing from the instructor, we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your booking.
13. Is it possible to modify or cancel my scheduled booking?
Yes, changes can be managed directly through your online account. You can cancel rentals up to 3 days in advance and adjust/reschedule them up to 3 hours beforehand.
14. Are there any penalty fees for late returns?
Strict punctuality is requested to prevent delaying subsequent users. Significant delays in returning the gear may result in a financial penalty fee.
15. Are pets allowed inside the double kayaks?
Pets are currently not permitted on the kayaks due to safety guidelines and equipment hygiene standards. Furthermore, during the summer months, dogs are banned from accessing this beach area altogether.
